Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 12, 2026

At Finance Free Calculator, we believe that your financial planning data is private. Unlike standard financial web portals that track your salary, loan requests, and investment amounts to sell targeted advertising, we use a decentralized, client-side structure.

1. 100% Client-Side Computing (No Data Collection)

Every calculation you perform on Finance Free Calculator runs entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript.

  • We do not store or transmit your financial inputs (such as savings amounts, income, debt, interest rates, or loan terms) to our servers.
  • We do not run backend databases that record your calculations.
  • As soon as you close your browser tab, your calculator inputs are erased from the browser's active memory.

2. No Ad Trackers or Third-Party Cookies

Rival finance sites utilize tracking pixels and cross-site scripts (like Google Publisher Tag or Facebook Pixel) to tag your profile with credit score, mortgage interest, or tax brackets so they can retarget you with credit card ads.

Finance Free Calculator has a strict zero-ad-tracker policy:

  • We do not place tracking cookies or advertising pixels on your browser.
  • The only local storage we utilize is to persist your light/dark mode preference (saved on your machine only).

3. Server Logs

Like most websites, our host (Vercel) automatically logs standard, non-personally identifiable server traffic requests (such as your IP address, browser type, and referrer header) to serve static files and prevent DDoS attacks. These logs are stored temporarily for security metrics and do not contain any information typed into our calculators.

4. Regulatory Compliance

Because we do not store, process, or sell your financial data, our privacy posture inherently complies with major international regulations:

  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation): We do not collect personal identifiers or financial profiles, meaning there is no personal data to manage or process.
  • CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act): We do not sell or share any consumer information, because we do not collect any.

5. External Links

Our guides and articles may occasionally reference official government resources or financial regulatory websites (e.g. tax schedules or national interest rates). If you click on these links, please note that those external websites operate under their own privacy policies.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to document new calculators or layout modifications. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an adjusted date stamp.
